Animation works best when the prompt describes motion and camera behavior without contradicting the source image.

Animate with the agent

1

Start with the animate Skill

Select animate on the home screen or start a new Space in Video mode.
2

Add the still image

Attach the image as a reference and explain which parts must remain unchanged.
3

Direct motion

Describe subject motion, environmental motion, camera movement, pace, and the intended duration.
4

Review in context

Check identity, geometry, and temporal consistency. Ask for one bounded change at a time.

Animate with the manual Video tool

Open Manual tools → Video, choose a model that accepts an image reference, attach the still, and set the supported duration, resolution, and aspect ratio.
Small, physically plausible motion is easier to preserve than several competing actions in one short clip.
